Spero is a Greek man from the island of Kefalonia. As a boy he was mischievous, always getting into trouble. His father abused him, and through the abuse an inner rage was created inside of him. By the time he reached his teens he dropped out of school and joined the local mafia. When Spero was 18, he got fed up with doing this work, killed a couple of Mafiosi, and fled to America. At first he stayed with his uncle in Paterson, New Jersey, and hooked up with the local Italian mob. He was partnered up with an African-American man named Al. He taught Spero the ropes of the Italian-American mob and the American way of life and nicknamed him aSlicka because he greased back his hair. After doing petty work for the Italian mob for a while, Slick fouled up and killed a man, and he and Al were forced to flee to the Dominican Republic to avoid the law. Slick met his future wife, Saveta, there. Seven years later they returned to America and formed their own family. Now that Slick had a family, he wanted out of the mob life. Slick got involved in politics and accomplished a feat never achieved by a Mafiosi. Unfortunately his foes didnat forget him.
