Tell you why. Actually the computers I often use in the OFFICE are Mac(Apple)without Chinese input program. Sometimes I also use PC (without Chinese input program). Only the system administrators have the right to install any software on the computers in the office. I am not one of them.

I did talk by only 中国话 online at home one month ago. I cancelled the Internet service at home recently because of house moving.

However, I do like to talk by English together with 中国话 under the current circumstance. Sorry for your unconvenient.

"No destruction, no construction" (Bu-Po-Bu-LI) Look at the history. In my opinion, 不否定“非科学精神", 科学精神 would not be 建立, just like two sides in a coin--if you want to see one side, you have to turn down another side even though you feel sad.


《剑桥医学史》结尾：

Do you think 经验医学 will replace 实证医学 in the future? Actually the developing 实证医学 has confirmed and will include all the truth of 经验医学. The falseness of 经验医学 is being kicked out and will be discarded. Of course, this viewpoint also comes from science and history experience.

Yeah, MIGRAINES是偏头痛. I didn't mean 针灸不管用. "针灸管不管用" or "中医(drug)管不管用" is different from whether 中医 is another kind of MEDICINE or not. My point is, there is ONLY one kind of MEDICINE, which is based on modern science, regardless of the change of science in the future.

I understand most of our people try to memorize our tradition and culture but enlightening and acceptance of REAL scientific spirit and ideas (not only technology) look more important and urgent currently in China mainland.

I don't know much about MRI although my major was biomedical engineering before. Based on the report above ("traditional acupuncture is no better than its sham counterpart at reducing migraines"), I think the idea "用MRI研究针灸" looks obscure since MRI just serves as a research instrument, and would not dig up the mechanism of 针灸 (if it exists)
