New York is the big city of dreams and once was a hot-bed for organized crime. You only had two choices to make: you were with them or against them. Unfortunately for some, the choice was made for them. Small business owners became the victims of extortion and half the police force were on the mobas payroll. Citizens turned to the politicians to take action against the wise guys but to no avail. One man, Gary Young Sr., refused to stand by and watch the city he loved be taken over by the mob. To fight back, he decided to run for mayor. Surprisingly, he won and became the first black mayor of New York. He started his campaign against crime; unfortunately, he wouldnat live to see his vision carried out. He and his wife were gunned down by a hired mafia hit man. The assassination left two children without parents, who later went searching for answers. Now, Gary Young Jr. vows to bring his parentsa killers to justice and finds himself battling another enemy, himself. Without warning, he finds himself becoming the very same person that he is trying to bring to justice. It will take every ounce of decency in his body to restore the true person inside of him and return him back to his Young identity.
