This collection of poems is mainly based on Patas life experiences told in rhyme. Her outlook on life and sense of humour is clearly apparent in these poems that cover life as she saw it through a childas eyes in the 1940s through to her thoughts on life as she sees it today. From childhood, Pat attended both church and chapel, and she portrays her love of God clearly in her poems in the hope to inspire others Her love of laughter, life, and nature is very apparent throughout the book. Although some of the poems are sad, reflecting the traumas that she has had in her early childhood years and teens, most are about the true-life funny experiences she had.
