Rosaline Melki was born in Roanoke, Virginia, an only child and predominantly raised by her father. Reading and writing were two of her first interests. Since she started school, she has been writing and has never stopped. Growing up with a shy nature, reading and writing was the creativity that exposed her to the world and continues to do so. This compilation of poems and journalistic thoughts are the essence of her life, emotional, and mental experiences over her twenty-two years. It is an odd, yet inspiring collection that may amuse and bring something that people can relate to in their own lives. It is a compiled story that comes from what it feels like to be an outsider of sorts, a black sheep, and, above all, a dreamer. This book encourages people young and old to never underestimate lifeas possibilities. Keep dreaming and live life to its fullest, for lifeas tragedy is its beauty.
