Heart Strings and Butterfly Wings

My collection of poems were written with the intent to express my love of family (including my family of fellow poetesses and poets); community, state and country; and for those who defend our freedom. It was also written for the purpose of encouraging others to write as a means of expressing themselves for healing purposes, and for the sheer joy of writing. Hopefully, some of my haiku, senryu, and true-story humorous poems will help the people who read them to enjoy thoughts of the beauty of nature, and of the lighter side of life, which we all need to escape to, occasionally, during these troubling times.
