  • Pitch Anything
The first 70% of the book really rocks
  • Ego Is the Enemy
I feel grateful to be constantly surrounded by people far better than me. This keeps reminding me that I still have a lot to learn and should always be humble.
  • Data Science for Business
Interesting book covering most fundamental data science methodologies, terminologies, and some commonly used tricks. The author's efforts of lowering the bar for readers by minimizing math contents is well appreciated. However, many core data science concepts would have been much easier to comprehend if more maths were used.
  • Venture Deals
I learnt something about fundraising and VC investments by talking to people and reading random articles online. But this is the first time that I manage to piece everything together and gain a big picture of the VC world. The knowledge is invaluable for an entrepreneur.
  • UX for Lean Startups
The author systematically led readers into the fundamentals of UX and product design, which is great. I particularly like the parts about how to conduct qualitative user studies. However, chapters on quantitative user studies are too shallow to be useful.
  • A Brief History of Time
After so many years, still consider Mr. Hawking the best writer in physics and history.
  • The Innovator's Dilemma
    1. Treat your current customers well so that they will stay with you; 2. Forget what they say because they are mostly stupid; 3. Fuck the customers who don't give a shit about your great idea and find new people to do business with; 4. Fuck the giants who stay in your way and view your new products as bullshit.
  • Inspired
For some parts, I could appreciate the author's wisdom by imagination, while for some others, I simply don't have the experiences to do so. Guess I'll have more to learn from this book as I walk deeper towards building products.
