His homeland in disarray, his political beliefs doomed, and his criminal activities exposed, Alesh Stefanich, a high-profile member of the Red Brigades, has to leave his operative basis in Italy. Under false identity, he finds asylum in Canada, where he decides to be a law-abiding citizen. His former controller, however, Johannes Volpieren, also settles in Canada, where he establishes a network based on industrial espionage. Fifteen years later, the paths of the two ex-comrades cross again. When the prototype of the Jungfrau Watchaa masterpiece of technology and artais stolen, Stefanich is hired to establish a fake laboratory manufacturing new fuel cells. Soon afterward, a project is stolen from the laboratory, providing the police with a breakthrough. But the Red Brigades arenat dead. Their means of corrupting and luring, coupled with their expertise in kidnapping and killing, infiltrate the peaceful town of Vermeil. Stefanich will have to adopt drastic measures to save whatas very dear to him.
