A 1967 protest march in Atlanta turns sour when Bobbie Hartman recognizes a dark, bearded man on a street corner. This man is the rogue uncle her father banned from their home. He convinces two of her companions that the three of them should share dinner with him. He diverts their attention long enough to drive them to an abandoned mansion that has been appropriated by his band of militant extremists. Bobbie demands he take her to call their housemother. After a frightening evening, Bobbieas uncle seduces one of her companions and is bludgeoned to death in the act by his brutish girlfriend. The girls manage a fleeting escape before they are recaptured and tried for the murder by a kangaroo court. Bobbie and her friends are freed only after an undercover member of the sham court befriends the girls and launches Bobbieas career as a skilled undercover operative.
