John Facer (JTB) has written for many years. His single parent status offered many experiences that others may not have had, and his references to his daughter are scattered throughout this collection of original poems. Many of the poems reflect his aamatorya nature, and a few poems reflect this in their sexual content. For the romantic readers, there are plenty of love poems, and as the reader becomes aware of the characters therein, he has included a smattering of poems received from Marian (M). Throughout the years of writing (as in anyoneas life), outlooks and observances change, and this is reflected in many poems that may be termed as poems of wisdom. Due to the book being offered in alphabetical format, the reader has the continuing surprise of love in upbeat, changing over-page to angst, from humour to plain silly, from social comment to serious comment and then sage-like wisdom. Sometimes a run of love poems will suddenly turn to political prose. Or humour Or other So the reader is asked to give each poem its own read, its own merit, but to akeep turning the pagesa (the next one is the agema that can be related to). It is recognised that no two readers will have the same taste. This collection is a true reflection of life as itas thrown at us, and John is confident in pleasing all readers, at some stage, as they turn the pages. Look out for book two
