What if you discovered a strange, white, powdery substance unlike anything known to man? What if this same alien-like powder had the ability to reason? What if you suddenly discovered that this same powder can mimic any living creature it comes into contact with, has an unquenchable thirst, feeds on the water in the ground beneath it, and also siphons all the moisture from its surroundings? What if this strange powder and its uncanny abilities have stymied the most powerful government on the face of the earth and its discovery has been kept hush-hush for months? What if the responsibility of stopping this foreign agent fell squarely upon your shoulders? Could you rise to the occasion, or would you tuck and run? These are the questions that the title character, Jerry, must resolve. Just when he thinks that his fairly early retirement from the nine-to-five rat race is going to be smooth sailing, his strange discovery throws a wrench of mammoth proportions into the mix. He questions whether he should take a stand and defend his birthright, or leave it to the government, which failed to come up with a viable solution. Aided by his life-long friends, Mack and Lee, Jerry digs for the truth and discovers that the answer is not as complicated as one might think
