The Incarceration by My Father

The plot traces young Paul, an underachiever who works in a plant nursery but is not certain what he wants to do with his life. When Paul meets Joey Maurimbo one night at a bar, little does Paul realize his life is about to change. Joey Maurimbo, a member of the well-known Paterson crime family happens to walk in one day to the nursery where Paul is working. Joey hands Paul his business card and mentions that if he is looking for a change in careers, to come see him. Paul goes to see Joey the next morning and gets hired to work for the Maurimbo family doing errands. Paul realizes the type of assignments the Maurimbos send him on are not normal. He starts to witness a series of illegal operations that the Maurimbo family are involved in: racketeering, murder, and gambling, all covered up by a waste oil company.
