Ri Ra: An Adventure Begins is the story of two Maine coon cats, George and Martha, who were taken from their loving home by a mean farmer. He needed the cats to rid his farm of all the mice. While in captivity, Martha gives birth to a large male kitten they name Ri Ra, and the story revolves around the adventures that Ri Ra and his parents have as they plan an escape. During their adventures they meet lots of other animals, and before long theyare joined by all of their newfound friends as they journey back home. This is the first in a series of stories about Ri Ra and his fantastic adventures around the world.
