Teeing Off & Grinning

This collection of poetry, or lyrical stories if you prefer, touches on many subjects and approaches each with an honest and uncompromising sense of seeing things for what they are or for what they purport to be. The preparation of each piece is an amalgamation of clear-eyed observation and a healthy dose of runaway imagination. The hopeless trap of being overtly autobiographical is knowingly and intentionally avoided at each juncture and at every turn. The freeing of a finely tuned imagination avoids the constricting parameters of self-analysis or self-denial and ensures the free-flowing nature of whatever the mind may be conjuring. The author never assumes to be an expert in anything that he writes about, but he does exert the innate and inalienable right to feel and express what he sees and feels. This freedom makes for a true cornucopia of styles, styling, and story lines.
