Tim Bennett, born 1983, flourished in a close-knit family and a circle of friends he acquired while attending Catholic schools. He developed a value system intended to prepare him for his future life. Upon entering Purdue University, his value structure was demolished by events at school, confused further by the unexpected death of his mother. A deep depression ensued. His only outlet was his poetry, enabling him to express his thoughts and feelings. His first book, Pain in Love and Faith was written in the midst of this depression and clearly expressed the pain and hopelessness he felt. Now, having overcome the deep despair of depression, in Beyond Lifeas Betrayals, Timas pain is still clearly evident. However, it is tempered with a hint of hope and an ability to look to the future as well as the past. Tim continues to tell the emotional story of his life through poetry.
