Andrew J. Gusich wrote his first poem at six years old. It was a poem to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Several years later, Andy received Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at Mt. Hermon, a retreat near Santa Cruz, California. The following year, he joined the full-time staff of Campus Crusade for Christ at its then-headquarters in Arrowhead Springs, California. For the next five years, Andy learned what it meant to serve and how to approach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He took to heart the last command of Jesus: ato go out into all nations of the world and disciple men.a The Great Commission. ( Matt: 28: 19-21) Also, he learned of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells in all Christians, and if we allow Him, we can be filled with Him and lead an empowered, spirit-filled life. This is key to a right relationship with God.
