Bert Swanson is known as the Golden Poet. He is a singer, songwriter and music publisher (Music in the Right Keys," and "High 'n Low Notes"). One of his songs was featured in a movie. He has had several recordings on albums and CDs. He has had many indie label cuts but nothing with any major labels. He once was the manager of a fifteen-year-old female singer from Georgia. She went to California to cut a CD. Bert was the publisher and songwriter on a lot of the songs. Sad to say, she was killed in an automobile accident, ending her career. She was very beautiful-outside as well as inside. Bert has collaborated with many, many other singers and songwriters from all over, as well as having composed many songs by himself (words and music). Yes, the Lord has gifted Bert with many talents. He used to sing and perform his children's songs and stories at many nursery schools, in a program liked by both children and adults. He still sings for many nursing homes and retirement centers; this program is called Let's Go Down Memory Lane with Bert. In his music catalog he has hundreds of songs as well as lyrics that would fit any type of music. Bert is a poet, who would like everyone to enjoy the poems he has completed. Bert: "Poetry is an art that only comes to a few, and those who have it should be recognized. I write poetry from the heart. Those who do have this talent should continue to believe in their work, just like I do."
