Love Was Dangerous

Coming from a soft sweet job as a professor in a Bible college to being a teacher on a small island in the Bahamas is not easy for Jill. Her brother is a preacher on the island, and he asks her to help him. The two of them run into trouble, first with their emotions, then with children and adults who use and run drugs. Their emotions collide with the people who think their lives are just fine. Drugs bring them money. But it also brings trouble, and finally a murder. The professor also has problems with a dive club owner who ignores the drug runners. She is also emotionally involved. There is a love-hate relationship that comes close to claiming her life. There are vivid descriptions of the island and life there for the natives who the preacher tries to help.
