The Heron
内容简介
A stone heron is the only witness to episodes of peace and violence in a luxurious garden, and ponders what makes these upright apes say so much but communicate so little. Nature meets naturalism in a quiet study of destructive emotions. At the center is the birdas adoration of a female whose reading aloud fills his days with both knowledge and perplexity. The author is an anthropologist and archaeologist living in Schenectady, New York. He has been writing fiction since the age of seven. This is his first published work of fiction.
