What do you do when some catastrophic event in your life leaves you frozen and silent, or some painful moments of confusion and anger catch you off guard or unable to respond? What if memories of your childhood and adolescence meant so much to you that you felt compelled to keep notes or written reminders of their importance and impact on your life? Well, those were all things that happened to me. After having matured decades later, I finally resurrected those memories and moments by coming to terms with them, and being able to understand all the love, laughter, and loneliness that once overwhelmed me when I was young. Finally, I am tender enough to say what I feel, as well as feel the honesty in what I say.
