"Manic Depression" is a slight but not utter departure from the boldness of speech in "Schizophrenia," my first published collection of fifty poems that were rough and edgy by nature. Experience is very important when looking at events, both past and present, from different points of view-this is the key. It is of my sincere opinion that "Schizophrenia" was lacking certain nuances that can only be gained by experience in living life with changing environments and goals. This collection, "Manic Depression," differs from my first published collection in that I have been able to write about many things in which I have personal experience and now feel comfortable putting into words. I found that there was more ease in bringing forth these words, which will be evident. Of course, I continually keep up with my poignant style, expressed points of view, language method and unstoppable honesty, which have enabled me to be true about my feelings since I began. I have held nothing back in my new collection "Manic Depression."
