Mark Spivey grew up with gravel roads, rotary phones, and unlocked doors. Raised by his grandparents in a time of innocence and fueled by his imagination, he had many adventures in his young life. From building his own hang glider to being ablown up, a these are but a few of his youthful antics. After graduating from Meridian High School in 1984, Mark joined the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He later taught computer networking and systems administration at Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas, where he created the first A.A.S. degree program in network security in the United States. As department chair of Network Security Technology, he has graduates working at the Pentagon and serving in Iraq. Mark currently works in the banking industry as a network security engineer, conducts hacking techniques and countermeasures seminars, known as Hack-Sym, and is co-owner of Access International, a national dial-up ISP located in Waco, Texas.
