Over the years as her writing became more therapeutic, Mary has compiled a collection of humorous poems. She describes some of the pitfalls of daily living we all encounter while working and raising our children, and still striving to be creative. Mary E. Cummings was born in Troy, New York, and has lived in Guilderland, New York, since 1984. She is married with one daughter, one son, and one granddaughter and works as a medical transcriptionist. Her poetry has appeared in Byline Magazine, Housewife Writers Forum, Poetic Page, New Authors Journal, and Standard Magazine. She has had numerous poems published in several anthologies and small press chapbooks. She has always had a love for poetry and learned at an early age to use it as a means of expressing her feelings. She started a small business a few years ago called Personal Poems by Mary and often writes poems for parties, weddings, and birthdays.
