Hell and Its Atonements is filled with action and portrays two young Marines who do what they must to survive. The storyline is based upon hardships and hilarious moments during the Vietnam conflict. While part of the book is factual, some of the stories have been expounded to realistically reveal the action during wartime. Even though the book is listed as fictional, itas a biography of those who served and will dwell in their minds for eternity. Many veterans reading this book will feel that someone has finally stepped out of the crowd and told a little of their story. Anyone interested in action-packed or combat history will be drawn to the events detailed in this novel.
