As a small child, my grandfather would corner me every chance he got and point his crooked Apache finger in my face and tell me I was evil. The devil had sent me; he would carry on and on and wish me dead. The same contempt and aversion my family held for me, I also held for them. The pain and havoc in a life so bizarre and unexplainable left me desperate for answers. Choosing mostly unconventional methods in my search for clarity and truth in my life, this quest would eventually lead me to a portrait. I was told I would be given the answers to all my questions by discovering who she was and what she had done. Part of this unparalleled odyssey included a seven-day expedition in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona where I unearthed treasure more valuable than diamonds or gold.
