Man's Wolf to Man
内容简介
These poems reflect the reactions of Laurence W. Thomas to the human tendency to strike out against opposition rather than seeking accommodation. In his work and travels abroad, the poet has seen first-hand the suffering of people victimized by the upsetting cruelty of war and its aftermath, visiting refugee camps in Iran and Lebanon and Jordan and living in war-torn Berlin for three years. War is a prime example of manas inhumanity to his fellow man, but the ignorance that promotes aggression over peaceful solutions is not limited to the battlefieldaas some of these poems suggest.
