Her writing reveals a brain which has adapted to injury through the deliberate and self-prescribed application of poetry ...the final stop on her tour- the readers realization that other peoples suffering can be an interesting (and even a fun) place to visit- leaves us relieved- and oddly sad- that we don't have to live there.
