花了一周把这书读完了，对一个对军事无太大兴趣，但对历史有兴趣的人来讲，这本书图文并茂讲完了W-SS覆灭史，没有什么晦涩的军事专业术语，图片地图也很丰富，叙事性强，理论少，very readable for amateurs。

The author has sympathies for Nazis, but the photos in the book are great. Peiper is a complicated and interesting person indeed.
