At age forty-four, Jeudi Jameson is divorced for the second time and alone, with only her small dog for companionship, facing her insecurities. Never having to rely totally on herself, Jeudi is ambiguous, self-doubting, and desperate to find someone. Believing she does not possess the life skills to function independently, Jeudi enters into a relationship with Phillip, a man she met through an internet dating site. Throughout the relationship, Jeudi seeks advice from a trusted group of co-workers about situations occurring between her and Phillip. She and her advisors believe she has found happiness, but she discovers hints to Phillipas personality that disturb her. At the peak of the relationship with Phillip, her group of advisors dwindles to one. Without their assistance, Jeudi is forced to depend on herself. Does she find happiness and develop necessary life skills? Does she resolve her security issues and conquer her fears?
