挺有阅读乐趣的经济类书籍，算是通过债务危机来剖析各国人民的劣根性？冰岛的大男子主义和无知即无畏，希腊那烂到根子里的政治体系，爱尔兰的疯狂房地产泡沫，还有德国人想像全世界一样不干不净地赚钱最终却是被所谓的普适性规则（例如triple a rating）给坑死，唯独说到米帝的时候，作者作为一个米国人，气氛瞬间就凝重了……

Been to iceland, ireland this year and stayed in UK for nearly a yr and half....it is indeed bad but things start to pick it up....not sure if China draws any comparison here...but it is definitely a scary thought P.S. Like ML's humor tho....

reading the first chapter, which is a story about Iceland. The book reads like a travelogue. The description of the Icelandic national characteristics is hilarious and the Icelanders are perfectly set up to be swept up in this financial storm. All the articles you can find on Vanity Fair's website for free.
